Poor Eddie

Poor Eddie is a physics-based puzzle game where your only goal is to launch, bounce, and blast an unlucky ragdoll named Eddie across the finish line. Instead of controlling Eddie directly, you interact with the environment around him, triggering trampolines, boxing gloves, and explosives to send him flying in the right direction. It is a game of trial, error, and slapstick comedy as you figure out the exact sequence of events needed to clear each stage.

Every level presents a new chaotic obstacle course filled with spikes, gaps, and hidden traps. Timing is everything—you might need to detonate a TNT barrel at the exact peak of Eddie’s arc to propel him over a wall, or drop him onto a moving platform just as it passes by. With a lighthearted cartoon style and unpredictable ragdoll physics, getting Eddie to the end safely (or at least in one piece) is a satisfying and hilarious challenge.

Controls

  • Mouse/Touch: Click or tap on interactive objects in the environment (like buttons, bombs, and levers) to trigger them.

Tips that actually help

  • Watch the timing: Many levels require you to trigger objects in a specific sequence. Wait for moving hazards to clear out of the way before launching Eddie.
  • Use the environment: Sometimes an explosion is the only way to get enough height. Don’t be afraid to blow things up if it gets Eddie closer to the goal.
  • Observe before clicking: Take a moment at the start of a level to look at all the interactive elements and map out Eddie’s trajectory in your head.

Poor Eddie is perfect for players who enjoy physics puzzles with a sense of humor and short, bite-sized levels that are easy to restart when things go wrong.
