Penalty Kick Online strips soccer down to its most high-pressure moment: the penalty shootout. You alternate between taking shots on goal and playing as the goalkeeper to defend your own net. It is a fast-paced test of reflexes where reading the goalkeeper’s movements is just as important as the speed of your swipe.
Each tournament round gives you a limited number of attempts to outscore your opponent. You will need to balance safe, accurate shots with riskier strikes to the top corners of the net. When it is your turn to defend, you have only a fraction of a second to react to the striker’s kick and dive for the block.
Controls
You can play entirely with your mouse or touchscreen:
- To shoot: Click and drag (or swipe) toward the goal to aim your kick. The speed and curve of your swipe determine the power and trajectory of the ball.
- To defend: Click and drag (or swipe) to move the goalkeeper’s gloves and block the incoming shot.
Tips for Winning
- Curve your shots: Do not just swipe in a straight line. A curved swipe will bend the ball in the air, making it much harder for the AI goalkeeper to track and block.
- Watch the striker: When playing as the goalie, pay attention to the striker’s animation before they kick. You can sometimes predict the general direction of the shot right before the ball leaves their foot.
- Aim for the corners: Shots right down the middle are easily saved. Focus your swipes toward the top left or top right corners of the net where the goalie cannot reach.
