11-11 is a minimalist, highly addictive puzzle game that expands on classic block-placement mechanics by giving you a slightly larger 11×11 grid. You are presented with three polyomino shapes at a time and must drag them onto the board. The goal is to create unbroken horizontal or vertical lines, which instantly clear those blocks from the board and score points.
Because the pieces do not fall like in Tetris, you can take your time to plan each move. The challenge comes from spatial awareness and resource management: as the board fills up, it becomes harder to accommodate the awkward, bulky shapes the game throws at you. A run ends when you can no longer fit any of your current pieces on the grid.
Controls
- PC/Mac: Click and hold the left mouse button to drag a piece, then release to drop it onto the grid.
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap, hold, and drag the shape with your finger to place it.
Tips for High Scores
- Always leave a 3×3 gap: The game will inevitably give you massive 3×3 square blocks. If you don’t have a spot for them, your game is instantly over.
- Clear from the center outwards: Keeping the center of the board clear gives you the most flexibility when placing long or awkwardly shaped pieces.
- Don’t hold out for combos: While clearing multiple lines at once scores higher, it is far more important to clear individual lines as soon as you can to keep the board open.
