Grab a friend and breach the castle walls in Duo Vikings 2, a cooperative puzzle-platformer where teamwork is the only way forward. You control two viking brothers—one heavy and strong, the other small and agile—who must combine their unique abilities to flip switches, dodge traps, and unlock the exit doors of increasingly dangerous levels.
A typical session involves careful planning and precise timing. The larger viking can smash through cracked blocks and handle heavy objects, while the smaller one can jump higher and reach tight spaces. You cannot complete a stage alone; both characters must safely reach the end to progress, making communication essential as you navigate the perilous dungeons and mechanisms.
Controls
- Player 1 (Small Viking): Use W, A, S, D to move and jump.
- Player 2 (Large Viking): Use Arrow Keys to move and jump.
- Interact: Use the Down Arrow or S to pull levers, pick up objects, or smash blocks.
Tips
- Scout ahead: Use the agile smaller viking to jump up to high platforms and scout out the puzzle mechanisms before moving the heavier viking into a potential trap.
- Look for cracks: Only the large viking can destroy cracked stone blocks. Always keep him in the lead if the path looks blocked.
- Coordinate your timing: Many doors and moving platforms require one player to hold a switch open while the other runs through. Talk to each other and time your movements carefully.
