Hunter Assassin
Hunter Assassin is an arcade stealth game where patience and positioning mean everything. You play from a top-down perspective, navigating maze-like rooms filled with armed guards. The guards patrol with visible flashlight beams, and stepping into the light means an instant game over. Your job is to stay in the shadows, track their patrol routes, and strike when their backs are turned.
A typical level moves fast once you learn the layout. You wait for an opening, dart in for a silent takedown, and immediately retreat before the other guards investigate the area. Every successful hit drops diamonds that you can save up to unlock new assassins with better speed and health stats, giving you an edge in the increasingly crowded later levels.
Controls
The game is entirely mouse-driven on PC and touch-driven on mobile:
- Click or Tap: Choose a spot on the floor and your character will automatically pathfind to that location. Tap an enemy to target them for a takedown.
Tips for Surviving
- Use corners as bait: When you eliminate a guard, others will often run to investigate the spot. Hide around the corner and you can easily take them down as they arrive.
- Never run into a long hallway: If a guard turns around while you are in a narrow corridor without cover, you won’t be able to dodge their flashlight beam.
- Upgrade for speed: While more health gives you a safety net if spotted, faster movement speed is the most valuable stat for closing the gap before a guard turns around.
