Magic Bridge
Magic Bridge is a fast-paced, momentum-based arcade game where you control the environment rather than the character. Your goal is to guide a constantly bouncing cat as high as possible up the “Big Oak.” Instead of moving the cat directly, you tilt the bridge underneath it, using the momentum of the bounce to fling your character upward while avoiding flying enemies, spiked hazards, and tricky gaps.
The gameplay relies entirely on quick reflexes and physics. The pixel-art aesthetic hides a surprisingly challenging loop: tilting the bridge too sharply can send your character plummeting, while not tilting it enough will leave you vulnerable to moving obstacles. As you climb higher, you collect coins that can be used to unlock familiar characters from the Super Cat Tales series, adding a fun progression layer to the endless arcade format.
Controls
- Left Arrow / A: Tilt the left side of the bridge down
- Right Arrow / D: Tilt the right side of the bridge down
- Mobile/Touch: Tap the left or right side of the screen to tilt the bridge
Tips that actually help
- Watch your momentum: Small, controlled tilts are much safer than wild swings. If you tilt too aggressively, the cat will launch off the edge of the screen and you’ll lose control.
- Prioritize survival over coins: While it’s tempting to dive for every coin, it’s better to keep your character centered on the bridge and safe from enemies. You earn more coins by surviving longer runs anyway.
- Anticipate the bounce: Enemies move in predictable patterns. Time your bridge tilts so you are bouncing precisely when there’s an opening, rather than reacting at the last second.
