The catch is that you can only select “free” tiles—those that have no other tiles resting on top of them and are unblocked on at least one side (left or right). Tips that actually help
- Work from the top down: Always prioritize matching tiles that are stacked on top of others. Clearing the highest points of the pile reveals more tiles underneath, giving you more options.
- Don’t rush the easy pairs: If you see a pair of identical tiles on the same layer that aren’t blocking anything, leave them be. They are a free match that might save you when you run out of moves later.
- Watch for four-of-a-kind: There are four copies of every tile on the board. If you can see all four free at once, match them immediately to get them out of your way safely.
