Tanko.io drops you into a frantic 5v5 multiplayer arena where two teams battle for ultimate armored supremacy. You command a tank for either the Allied or Axis forces, rolling across the battlefield with one straightforward objective: push through the enemy lines and destroy their base before they can reduce yours to rubble. It is an intense mix of team coordination, aggressive pushes, and tactical retreats.
As you destroy opposing tanks and take down defensive turrets, you earn experience to level up your vehicle. Each level grants your tank more health, stronger firepower, and thicker armor, transforming you from a light skirmisher into an unstoppable heavy juggernaut. Because the game runs directly in the browser with nothing to install, you can easily jump right into the action and start climbing the upgrade tree.

Tips for Winning
- Travel in packs: A lone tank is easy prey. Stick with your teammates to focus your fire and overwhelm enemy defenders.

- Focus on the objective: While fighting other players is fun, the only way to win is by destroying the enemy base. Use openings to deal damage to their structures.
