JumphobiaIn Jumphobia, you can't jump manually—your character leaps automatically when running off an edge. Master this puzzle platformer directly in your browser.
Jumphobia
Jumphobia takes the standard platformer formula and removes your most important button: jump. Instead of timing leaps manually, your character automatically springs into the air the moment they step off the edge of any platform. What starts as a simple twist quickly turns into a brain-bending puzzle as you try to navigate treacherous levels, spikes, and enemies.
Because you can’t control when you jump, you have to carefully control where and how you fall. You’ll need to judge distances, use springboards, and sometimes intentionally drop down instead of running off an edge to survive. It’s a game that relies more on planning and precise movement than quick reflexes, making it a perfect browser-based brain-teaser.
Controls
- Left/Right Arrows or A/D: Move left and right
- Down Arrow or S: Drop down (prevents auto-jumping off the edge)
Tips for Success
- Watch your momentum: How fast you run off an edge affects how far you jump. Sometimes you need a slow walk to make a short hop.
- Use the drop-down: Don’t forget you can press down to simply fall off an edge without jumping. This is essential for navigating tight vertical spaces.
- Look ahead: Since you auto-jump, you need to know where you’re landing before you commit to running off a platform. Plan your route!
