Eat.io drops you into a busy city arena where your only goal is to consume everything in sight. Starting as a small black hole, you’ll need to slide around the map pulling in streetlights, benches, and pedestrians to slowly expand your diameter. It is a frantic race against the clock and other players as everyone tries to reach the top of the leaderboard.
As you grow, the scale of what you can eat changes dramatically. A hole that started out chasing trash cans will soon be swallowing entire apartment blocks and skyscrapers. The real danger, however, comes from the other players in the lobby. If a rival hole is larger than you, they can swallow you whole, forcing you to start over.
Controls
- Mouse or Touch: Click and drag, or swipe to move your hole around the map.
Tips for growing fast
- Start small: Don’t waste time trying to eat cars when you first spawn. Stick to tiny items like traffic cones, people, and hydrants until you level up.
- Hunt other players: Swallowing a smaller player gives a massive size boost, making them the most valuable targets on the map once you are big enough.
- Use buildings for cover: If a massive player is chasing you, try to weave through buildings that are too big for them to eat yet.
