In Duck Life 2: World Champion, you take a promising young duckling and train them into an elite athlete capable of dominating global racing tournaments. Unlike simple racing games, winning here requires careful preparation before you ever step foot on the track. You’ll need to hit the training grounds to level up your duck’s core skills—running, swimming, flying, and the newly introduced climbing ability—through a series of fast-paced minigames.
As your duck gets stronger, you’ll travel to different countries to compete against increasingly tough local champions. Between races, use your prize money to buy skill-boosting seeds from the shop or unlock stylish new hats and colors to customize your feathered competitor. The loop of training to level up and then crushing a race you previously lost makes the progression incredibly satisfying.
Controls
- Training: Use the Left and Right arrow keys for running and flying. Use the Up arrow key to jump while running or to swim higher in the water. Use the Left and Right arrows to switch sides while climbing.
- Racing: During a race, your duck moves automatically. You only need to use the Up arrow key to jump over obstacles when on land.
Tips for Winning
- Balance your training: Don’t just focus on one stat. Tournaments feature mixed terrain, so a duck that can fly perfectly but can’t climb will lose valuable time on the rock walls.
- Feed your duck: Energy drops as you train and race. Always check your duck’s energy level and buy seeds to keep them fueled up before a big tournament.
- Max out the early levels: The beginner training minigames get harder as you level up, but they are the safest way to farm coins early on before taking on the championship races.
