Wings.io is a fast-paced multiplayer dogfighting game where you pilot a fighter jet in a massive 2D arena. Dropped right into the middle of a frantic free-for-all, your goal is to survive the chaotic airspace, rack up points by shooting down other players, and claim the top spot on the leaderboard.
The sky is constantly filled with falling crates containing powerful weapon upgrades, ranging from laser beams and missile swarms to heavy cannons. It’s a game of constant movement and quick reflexes, where a single well-timed weapon pickup can turn you from prey into the dominant force in the match, at least until someone else gets a lucky shot.
Controls
- Move: The plane automatically flies towards your mouse cursor.
- Shoot: Click the Left Mouse Button or press the Spacebar.
Tips that actually help
- Keep moving: Staying still or flying in predictable straight lines makes you an easy target for snipers and missiles. Always curve your flight path.
- Dive for weapons: Your starting machine gun is weak. Prioritize grabbing crates over chasing enemies early on. The laser and seeking missiles are particularly strong.
- Use the water: Diving into the ocean at the bottom of the screen will extinguish fire if you take damage, giving you a chance to recover.
- Watch your tail: It’s easy to get tunnel vision when chasing someone. Frequently check behind you so you don’t get ambushed while hunting.
