Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 turns up the pressure in the night shift survival formula by taking away your doors. As the new security guard at the revamped Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, you are tasked with monitoring the security cameras while surviving against a massive cast of wandering animatronics. The office has open vents and a wide hallway, leaving you completely exposed to whatever wanders in from the dark.
Instead of locking doors, your survival relies on three crucial tools: a flashlight with limited battery, a Freddy Fazbear head you can wear to fool most animatronics, and a music box in the Prize Corner that must be kept wound up. Managing your attention between winding the music box, checking the blind spots, and flashing the hallway light creates a tense, fast-paced juggling act that punishes any hesitation.
Controls
- Mouse: Move cursor to look around the office
- Left Click: Interact with cameras, wind the music box, and toggle lights
- Spacebar: Toggle flashlight (while on cameras or in the office)
- Hover: Move mouse to the bottom corners to open the camera monitor or put on the Freddy mask
Tips that actually help
- Prioritize the Music Box: The Marionette cannot be stopped once it leaves the Prize Corner (Camera 11). Winding the music box should be your absolute highest priority.
- Mask timing is everything: When you pull down the camera monitor, immediately prepare to put on the Freddy mask. Some animatronics attack within a split second of you lowering the tablet.
- Flash Foxy: The Freddy mask does not work on Foxy. If you see him at the end of the hallway, flash your light at him a few times to reset his approach.
