Meow Merge
Meow Merge takes the addictive physics-puzzle mechanics of the watermelon genre and replaces the fruit with an increasingly large cast of round, squishy cats. Your goal is simple: drop felines into the container and match identical breeds to combine them into bigger, entirely new cats. As you merge your way up the chain, the cats take up more space, requiring careful planning to keep your pile from spilling over the top line.
Every session is a balancing act of physics and strategy. Because the cats are round and bouncy, dropping one in the wrong spot can shift your entire stack or cause a chain reaction of merges. The game rewards patience and careful placement, making it a perfect low-stress puzzle to leave open in a tab for quick, relaxing sessions.
Controls
- Mouse: Move your cursor to aim, and click to drop a cat.
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap and drag to aim, then release to drop.
Tips that actually help
- Keep your largest cats in the corner. Try to build your stack so the biggest felines are pinned against one of the walls, which stops them from rolling into the middle and separating your smaller cats.
- Look for chain reactions. Before you drop, check if merging two smaller cats will create a new one that immediately merges with another cat next to it.
- Don’t rush. There is no time limit. Let the physics settle completely before you drop your next cat, as a shifting pile can easily ruin a perfectly planned merge.
