Water Color Sort is a relaxing yet challenging logic puzzle where you organize mixed liquids until each container holds a single, solid color. The premise is simple, but the difficulty ramps up steadily as you face more tubes and increasingly scrambled colors.
The game is all about planning your moves carefully. You can only pour water onto a matching color or into an empty tube, meaning a wrong move can quickly trap you with no valid plays left. It is a satisfying loop of deduction that is perfect for short sessions when you want a quiet brain-teaser.
Controls
Water Color Sort is fully playable with a mouse or touch screen.
- Select a tube: Click or tap any tube to lift it.
- Pour water: Click or tap a valid destination tube to transfer the top layer of liquid.
Tips for Sorting
- Isolate an empty tube: Try to clear out one tube entirely as soon as possible. Having a completely empty tube acts as a wildcard space and gives you tremendous flexibility to shuffle other colors around.
- Think ahead: Just because a move is valid doesn’t mean you should make it. Before pouring, check if you are going to trap a color you need for your next step underneath another layer.
- Restart freely: There is no penalty for making a mistake. If you paint yourself into a corner with no moves left, simply restart the level and try a different sequence.
