Blocky Trials is a fast-paced, challenging motocross game with a distinctive voxel art style. You take control of a blocky rider navigating a series of grueling obstacle courses filled with steep ramps, sudden drops, and hazardous terrain. Instead of just racing the clock, the real test is simply staying on your bike without crashing.
The game relies heavily on physics and balance. You have to carefully manage your speed and tilt while tackling jumps and uneven ground. Because tracks are procedurally generated, each run presents a fresh set of unpredictable obstacles, keeping you on your toes as you try to beat your personal best and unlock new riders.
Controls
- W / Up Arrow: Accelerate
- S / Down Arrow: Brake and reverse
- A / D or Left / Right Arrows: Tilt your bike backward and forward
Tips for Staying Alive
- Manage your tilt: When launching off ramps, slightly tilt your bike backward so your rear wheel hits the ground first. This absorbs the impact and prevents you from flipping over.
- Don’t hold the gas: Keeping the accelerator pinned the entire time will quickly lead to a crash. Let off the gas before steep drops or narrow gaps to maintain control.
- Take it slow on new obstacles: Since the tracks are randomly generated, it pays to brake and scout a sudden incline rather than launching into it blind.
