Sprint down a 3D space tunnel as an alien in Run 1. Rotate the walls to shift gravity, avoid endless gaps, and see how long you can survive.
Run 1
Run 1 is the classic 3D platformer that redefined browser games by treating gravity as a suggestion. You control a small grey alien sprinting down an endless floating tunnel in the middle of space. The hook is simple but brilliant: when you walk into a wall, the entire tunnel rotates around you, turning that wall into your new floor. This gravity-shifting mechanic turns standard platforming into a spatial puzzle, forcing you to constantly flip the world to find a safe path forward.
The game splits into two distinct ways to play. Adventure Mode offers a series of handcrafted levels that introduce new tunnel shapes and harder gaps, while Survival Mode throws you into an endless, procedurally generated course that speeds up the longer you stay alive. It runs smoothly in your browser with nothing to install, offering quick sessions that easily turn into hours of trying to beat your best distance.
Controls
- Left / Right Arrow Keys: Move left and right. Hitting a wall will rotate the entire tunnel.
- Up Arrow or Spacebar: Jump.
How to Survive Longer
- Look deep into the tunnel: Don’t just focus on the gap directly in front of you. Check the upcoming walls to see which side of the tunnel offers the longest unbroken path before you commit to rotating.
- Jump before rotating: When a gap spans across the floor and the wall, you can jump into the wall mid-air. The camera will flip while you’re airborne, which is often faster and safer than trying to rotate while grounded.
- Learn your jump arc: The alien has a very floaty jump, and you maintain momentum in the air. Practice controlling your mid-air drift to land precisely on thin pathways.
