Traffic Mania
Traffic Mania puts you in charge of busy city intersections where one wrong move leads to a massive pileup. Your goal is simple but incredibly stressful: keep the cars, trucks, and buses moving smoothly without letting them crash into each other. Every vehicle has its own speed and rhythm, and as the traffic volume builds, you have to decide instantly who stops and who goes.
The challenge ramps up quickly as intersections become more complex. You aren’t just dealing with slow-moving sedans; you have to account for long trucks that take extra time to clear the junction and fast cars that appear without much warning. Success requires predicting the timing of multiple moving parts at once to maintain a steady flow.
Controls
The entire game is played using just your mouse or touchscreen:
- Click or Tap: Select a vehicle to immediately stop it in its tracks.
- Click or Tap Again: Command a stopped vehicle to accelerate and cross the intersection.
Tips for High Scores
- Keep your eyes on the edges: Don’t just watch the center of the intersection. Monitor where new vehicles are spawning so you can plan their crossing order before they get close.
- Watch out for long vehicles: Trucks take up a lot of space and are slow to cross. Make absolutely sure the crossing path is clear for a few seconds before letting a truck through.
- Don’t stop everyone: While it’s tempting to stop cars to avoid an immediate crash, having too many stopped cars creates a severe gridlock that becomes impossible to untangle later. Let cars flow as much as possible.
