Command and program tiny robots to harvest resources, craft items, and terraform a frozen planet in Craftomation 1, an engaging logic and automation game.

Craftomation 1

fugiman

Craftomation 1 drops you onto a frozen, uninhabitable planet with a single objective: terraform the environment using logic and automation. Instead of mining and crafting everything by hand, you command a growing workforce of small robots called CraftoMates. By harvesting basic resources like ice and wood, you can start building fires to melt the surroundings and unlock new materials.

The core of the experience lies in its visual programming system. As your tasks become more complex, you can drag and drop command blocks to script your robots, turning them into an automated assembly line. What starts as manually gathering coal quickly scales into managing a web of autonomous bots working together to heat the planet and uncover its secrets.

Controls

The game is entirely playable with just a mouse. Use the left mouse button to select units, click on resources to harvest them, and drag logic blocks to program your robots. You can also use the mouse wheel or on-screen buttons to zoom in and out of the map.

Tips for Success

  • Start simple: Before trying to build a massive automated loop, script a single robot to do one repetitive task, like gathering coal and bringing it to a fire.
  • Organize your workspace: As you unlock more nodes and commands, your logic tree can get messy. Group related actions together so you can easily debug when a robot gets stuck.
  • Prioritize heat: Your immediate surroundings will freeze over if you don’t maintain your heat sources. Make sure automating fuel delivery to fires is one of your first goals.
