Chrome DinoPlay the classic Chrome Dino game free online. Control a running T-Rex, jump over cacti, duck under pterodactyls, and survive the endless desert.
Chrome Dino
Chrome Dino is the legendary endless runner that typically only appears when your internet goes down. Instead of staring at a “No Internet” error, you take control of a pixelated T-Rex sprinting across an endless, minimalist desert. Your only goal is to survive as long as possible by dodging the hazards that speed toward you.
The gameplay is beautifully straightforward but quickly becomes a test of reflexes. As your dinosaur runs, you have to jump over varying clusters of cacti and duck under flying pterodactyls. The longer you survive, the faster the T-Rex runs, and the game will periodically invert its colors from day to night, adding a visual challenge to the increasing speed.
Controls
- Spacebar or Up Arrow: Jump (also starts the game)
- Down Arrow: Duck (used to avoid high-flying pterodactyls and to drop quickly after a jump)
Tips for High Scores
- Fast fall: If you jump too early, press the Down Arrow to immediately pull your T-Rex back to the ground. This is crucial at higher speeds.
- Look ahead: Don’t focus on your dinosaur. Keep your eyes on the right side of the screen so you can react to obstacles earlier.
- Hold to duck: Pterodactyls come in three heights. You only need to duck under the lowest ones, but holding the down arrow is often safer than trying to judge the height at max speed.
