StarBlast is a fast-paced multiplayer space shooter that drops you into a dense asteroid field teeming with hostile ships. Controls
StarBlast supports both mouse and keyboard setups for precise piloting:
- Steer / Aim: Move your mouse cursor to point your ship.
- Accelerate: Hold Right-Click or the Up Arrow key.
- Fire Weapons: Press Left-Click or the Spacebar.
- Drop Crystals: Hold V to transfer crystals to your team’s base or donate them to allies.
- Quick Chat: Press A (Attack), D (Defend), Y (Yes), or N (No) to coordinate with teammates.
Survival Tips
- Prioritize Energy Regeneration: When upgrading your ship’s stats, focus on energy regen and capacity first. Fast energy recovery lets you mine asteroids much faster and keep your weapons firing during intense skirmishes.
- Master the Glide: You can glide in one direction while firing in another by toggling the RCS (Rotation Control System). Use this drift to keep shooting at pursuing enemies while escaping.
- Fly with Your Faction: In team mode, don’t hoard crystals. Return to your base regularly to deposit them. A higher-tier team base unlocks better ship classes and gives your entire team a massive tactical advantage.
- Choose Your Upgrade Path: Study the ship tree and decide on a build early. Decide whether you prefer fast, agile interceptors for hit-and-run attacks or slow, heavily-shielded cruisers that can lock down territory.
