Subway Surfers New Orleans brings the world-famous endless runner to the spooky, lantern-lit streets of the French Quarter. Players must dodge oncoming trains, jump over barricades, and dash through tunnels while fleeing from the grumpy Inspector and his dog. The pace starts out manageable but quickly accelerates into a reflex-testing sprint that requires split-second decisions.
This edition features a vibrant Halloween aesthetic unique to the New Orleans World Tour stop. You can grab power-ups like the jetpack or coin magnet to boost your score, and collect coins to unlock special characters and boards. The core loop remains the same tight, satisfying gameplay the series is known for: run as far as you can, and try to beat your high score before you inevitably crash.
Controls
- Up Arrow / W: Jump
- Down Arrow / S: Roll under barriers
- Left / Right Arrows / A / D: Switch lanes
- Spacebar: Activate hoverboard
On touch screens, simply swipe up to jump, down to roll, and left or right to change lanes. Double-tap to activate a hoverboard.
Tips that actually help
- Stay high: Whenever possible, run along the tops of the trains rather than the tracks. It gives you a better view of upcoming obstacles and keeps you safe from sudden trains.
