Blumgi Ball
Blumgi Ball turns basketball into an unpredictable physics puzzle where making the shot is only half the challenge. Instead of simply aiming for the hoop, you play as an athletic creature who can teleport directly to the ball while it is in mid-air. This means you can throw the ball across a massive gap, teleport to it, and throw it again before hitting the ground to string together crazy trick shots across the court.
Every level introduces new obstacles, from moving platforms and bouncy walls to water hazards that will instantly reset your turn. The physics are bouncy and forgiving, encouraging you to experiment with slingshot angles and rapid-fire teleports rather than demanding perfect precision on your first try. It is a fast-paced, addictive loop of shooting, teleporting, and dunking that feels completely different from a traditional sports game.
Controls
- Aim and Shoot: Click and drag the mouse (or swipe on touch screens) to set your angle and power, then release to throw.
- Teleport: Press the Spacebar (or tap the screen) while the ball is in the air to instantly teleport your character to the ball’s location.
Tips for Hitting Your Shots
- Chain your teleports: You don’t have to make the hoop in one throw. Launch the ball high, teleport to it, and throw it again to cross large distances without touching the floor.
- Use the walls: The ball is incredibly bouncy. In tight corridors, bouncing the ball off the ceiling or walls can slip it past barricades that you cannot throw over.
- Don’t rush the dunk: Take a moment to see where the platforms are moving. Sometimes it is safer to let the ball drop into a lower safe zone, teleport to it, and set up a much easier final shot into the net.
