Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements takes the classic cooperative platforming of the series and introduces new temples with unique elemental mechanics. You control two distinct characters—Fireboy and Watergirl—each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Fireboy can walk through lava but dies in water, while Watergirl safely wades through water but cannot survive lava. Both must avoid the green ooze.
You can play solo by controlling both characters at once, or share the keyboard with a friend for true cooperative play. The levels require teamwork to flip switches, move blocks, and solve environmental puzzles to reach the exit doors at the end of each stage.
