Hell Tile
Hell Tile is a matching puzzle game that tests your planning and observation skills. The objective is to clear a stacked board of overlapping tiles by finding and selecting matching sets of three. Every tile you click moves down into a temporary storage tray at the bottom of the screen. When three identical tiles land in the tray, they disappear, freeing up space.
The challenge comes from the limited size of your storage tray, which only holds seven tiles. Because you can only select tiles that are not fully covered by others, you often have to pick up unmatching tiles just to uncover the ones you need. If the tray fills up completely without a match, the game is over.
Controls
- Mouse: Click on any exposed tile to move it to your tray.
- Touch: Tap an exposed tile to select it.
Tips for Success
- Watch the tray: Never click randomly if your tray is almost full. Always make sure your next few moves will complete a match of three.
- Uncover the hidden layers: Prioritize matching tiles that are covering large stacks. Freeing up the layers below gives you more options.
- Save easy matches: If there are three matching tiles fully exposed on the top layer, leave them alone until you actually need the tray space, or use them to clear out clutter.
