James Gun
In James Gun, you play a man making a daring escape from a lover’s window. The goal is to drop all the way down to your sports car parked at street level without suffering a fatal fall. To survive the descent, you have to grab onto ledges and window sills along the side of the building to slow your momentum.
The gameplay is all about timing your grip. As you plummet, you hold the action button to reach out and cling to the wall, which stops your fall but drains your stamina if you hang on for too long. Releasing the button lets you drop again. You have to carefully manage your descent, chaining drops and grabs, until you safely reach the getaway car at the bottom.
Controls
- Desktop: Hold the Spacebar or Left Mouse Button to grab onto a ledge. Release to drop.
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap and hold the screen to grab a ledge. Release to drop.
Tips that actually help
- Don’t hold on too long: Grabbing a ledge stops your fall, but you will eventually slip. Use ledges to break your momentum, not to hang out indefinitely.
- Look below before dropping: Make sure there is another ledge within a safe distance before you let go. If you freefall for too long, the impact will end your run.
