Lava BirdPlay Lava Bird, a unique arcade endless runner where every flap of your wings shoots random, bouncing fireballs. Survive your own hazards in your browser.
Lava Bird
Lava Bird takes the familiar one-button flying mechanic and turns it against you. Every time you flap your wings to stay in the air, your bird shoots a bouncing fireball in a random direction. What starts as a simple survival game quickly turns into a chaotic scramble to dodge not only the environment but your own stray projectiles.
Developed by Unept, the game forces you to balance your need for altitude with the danger of filling the screen with hazards. It is a brilliant twist on the endless runner genre that makes every tap a calculated risk as you navigate past spikes, enemy birds, and walls of bouncing lava.
Controls
- Fly: Left Click, Spacebar, or Up Arrow
- Mobile/Tablet: Tap the screen to flap
Tips that actually help
- Flap as little as possible: Since every flap spawns a fireball, flying higher than necessary will just flood the screen with hazards.
- Watch the bounces: Your fireballs bounce off the ceiling and floor. Try to predict their trajectories instead of just reacting to where they are right now.
- Pace your taps: Rapid tapping will create a cluster of fireballs that is almost impossible to dodge. Find a rhythm that keeps you airborne with minimum shots.
Lava Bird is perfect for short sessions when you want an arcade game that requires quick reflexes and careful hazard management.
