Monster Merge
Monster Merge takes the classic obstacle runner formula and adds a satisfying evolution system. As your creature automatically sprints forward along the track, you must quickly steer left or right to pass through the correct math gates and merge with identical monsters. Making the right split-second decisions causes your character to grow stronger and evolve into new, more intimidating forms.
The real challenge comes at the end of each track. All the power you successfully accumulated during the running phase is immediately put to the test in a final showdown against an enemy villain or boss monster. If you make too many mistakes and your creature isn’t high enough level by the time you cross the finish line, you won’t be strong enough to win the battle.
Controls
The game relies entirely on simple steering mechanics:
- PC: Use the Left and Right Arrow keys or A and D keys to steer left and right. Alternatively, click and drag with the mouse.
- Mobile: Swipe or drag left and right on the screen to steer.
Tips that actually help
- Prioritize high multipliers: Look ahead at the upcoming gates. A multiplier gate is almost always better than an addition gate once you have a decent baseline level.
- Dodge the red gates: Red subtraction or division gates will actively downgrade your monster. Sometimes the best move is to take a neutral path to avoid hitting a negative gate.
- Merge over math: Colliding with an identical monster on the track to trigger an instant merge is usually the fastest way to level up.
