In Shortcut Race, the fastest way to the finish line is rarely the track itself. You compete against other runners on a winding course suspended over the water, collecting wooden planks scattered along the path. Instead of following every curve, you can use these planks to build your own bridges straight across the gaps, cutting massive corners to get ahead of the pack.
The risk comes down to how many planks you’ve gathered. If you try to build a shortcut over the water but run out of wood before reaching the other side, you fall in and lose the race. It’s a continuous balance between sticking to the safe path to hoard materials and taking calculated leaps across the water to steal first place.
