Rooftop Snipers is a chaotic, physics-based shooting game where the goal is simple: knock your opponent off the roof before they do it to you. The catch is that you cannot walk. Your character constantly sways back and forth, and your only moves are to jump and shoot. The bizarre physics make every match a hilarious struggle to line up a shot while dodging enemy fire.
Playable solo against the computer or in local two-player mode, the first to five points wins the match. Every round mixes things up with a new weapon—ranging from sniper rifles and rocket launchers to tomahawks—and different rooftop environments that sometimes include falling obstacles. It is a perfect quick-play game for settling scores with a friend.
Controls
There are no movement keys; you only control jumping and shooting. The timing of your jumps determines your character’s angle and momentum.
- Player 1: Press W to jump and E to shoot.
- Player 2: Press I to jump and O to shoot.
Tips that actually help
- Do not spam the shoot button: Firing pushes you backward due to recoil. If you shoot wildly while standing near your edge, you will knock yourself off the roof.
- Jump to dodge: Your character is agile in the air. Time your jumps to dodge incoming projectiles and shoot while descending to hit your opponent from an unexpected angle.
- Watch the weapons: Each round gives you a different weapon. A heavy rocket launcher has massive knockback compared to a standard sniper rifle, so adjust your strategy accordingly.
