Super Mario World Online brings the defining 16-bit platformer straight to your browser. You guide Mario and Luigi across Dinosaur Land on a massive quest to stop Bowser, exploring a sprawling world map filled with multiple paths, ghost houses, and secret areas. It’s the game that introduced Yoshi to the series, letting you ride the helpful dinosaur to eat enemies and gain new abilities based on the shells he holds.
The pacing is entirely up to you. You can sprint through the core levels to reach Bowser’s castle as quickly as possible, or take your time hunting down every hidden key and secret exit to unlock Star Road and the Special Zone. With precise momentum-based jumping and a variety of power-ups like the Cape Feather, the gameplay remains incredibly tight and responsive decades after its original release.

Tips for Dinosaur Land
- Save your Cape: The Cape Feather is the most powerful item in the game. If you get a running start and jump, you can fly over entire sections of difficult levels.
- Look for red dots: On the world map, levels marked with a red dot instead of a yellow one have a secret alternative exit. You will usually need to find a key and a keyhole to unlock these paths.
- Use the item reserve: When you collect a power-up while already powered up, your previous item goes into the box at the top of the screen. Drop it down when you take damage to recover quickly.
