This browser-friendly version of the classic Klondike card game brings the familiar mechanics of sorting and stacking directly to your screen. You start with a shuffled tableau of hidden cards and must carefully uncover them, building descending sequences of alternating colors. The pace is entirely up to you, whether you want to speed through a quick hand or take your time planning out the most efficient moves.

The core loop is simple but rewarding: sort the tableau to free up the cards you need, then move them up to the four foundation piles by suit. It requires a mix of luck and strategy, as every uncovered card can either open up a whole new chain of moves or leave you stuck digging through the draw pile for an opening.

Controls

  • PC: Left-click and drag to move cards. Double-click a card to instantly send it to an open foundation pile.
  • Mobile & Tablet: Tap and drag cards to move them. Double-tap to send them to the foundation.

Tips that actually help

  • Turn over hidden cards first: Always prioritize moving cards in the tableau to reveal face-down cards before resorting to the draw pile. The more cards you have uncovered, the more options you have.
  • Save empty columns for Kings: Only a King (or a sequence starting with a King) can be placed in an empty column. Don’t empty a column unless you have a King ready to take that spot, or you might restrict your future moves.
  • Don’t rush to the foundation: Sometimes it’s better to leave cards in the tableau rather than moving them up immediately, as they might be needed to hold lower cards of alternating colors.

With no timers and endless replayability, it’s a perfect background game for when you need a quiet minute to focus and reset.
