Build And Crush
Build and Crush is a 3D physics sandbox that gives you exactly what the title promises: a suite of block-building tools to construct whatever you can imagine, and an arsenal of weapons to tear it all down. Whether you want to meticulously design a towering skyscraper or just spawn a pre-made castle to immediately blow it up, the game lets you do both in the same browser window with nothing to install.
The game splits its focus into two distinct modes. In Build Mode, you have access to a large inventory of blocks, ramps, and decorative pieces to snap together into custom structures. When you’re ready for chaos, flipping over to Crush Mode turns your creation into a physics playground. You can drop meteors, plant TNT, fire missiles, or unleash earthquakes to watch the blocks scatter and collapse in real time.
Controls
- W, A, S, D or Arrow Keys: Move around the map.
- Mouse: Look around and aim.
- Left-Click: Place a block (Build Mode) or use a weapon (Crush Mode).
- E: Open your inventory menu to select blocks or destruction tools.
- Spacebar: Jump.
- Shift: Sprint.
Tips that actually help
- Target the foundation: When using explosives or projectiles, aim for the base of the structure. The physics engine will do the rest of the work as the top collapses from a lack of support.
- Load pre-made creations: If you don’t feel like spending time building, you can load structures made by other players from the online gallery and get straight to the demolition.
- Test the earthquake: The earthquake tool is great for destabilizing large, wide builds without blowing them apart completely. Use it to watch towers slowly tip over.
